National Forests in Arizona

United States National Forests in the state of Arizona.

Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest
The Apache National Forest and the Sitgreaves National Forest are located in east central Arizona.

Coconino National Forest
Includes the red rock country around Sedona, Ponderosa Pine forests, and alpine tundra.

Coronado National Forest
A 1.8 million acre park in southeastern Arizona. Elevations range from 3,000 feet to more then 10,000 feet.

Kaibab National Forest
Includes Sycamore Canyon, Kendrick Mountain, and Kanab Creek.

Prescott National Forest
A 1.25 million acre National Forest that borders three other Arizona National Forests.

Tonto National Forest
This si the fifth largest forest in the United States, occupying 3 million acores ofland. It is one of the most visited forests in the United States.
