Royal Palms Resort and Spa
When this hotel was built in 1929 it was the winter home of Cunard Steamship executive and New York Resident Delos Willard Cook and his wife Florence. When it first opened as a hotel in 1948 it was called the Royal Palms Inn. The inn was given a multi million dollar upgrade in the 1990's and it reopened as a resort and spa in 1997. Today the Royal Palms Resort has 177 guest rooms and casitas and amenities and facilities on the grounds include the Alvadora Spa, a swimming pool lined with mother-of-pearl tiles, a croquet lawn, and several restaurants. Hotel Gadsden
130 room hotel that first opened in 1907. The Gasden Hotel was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 Visitor attractions nearby include Kartchner Caverns, the Ghost towns of Gleeson and Paradise, The Apache hideout n the Dragoon Mountains known as the Cochise Stronghold, and day trips across the Mexican border to Agua Prieta, usually to visit that town's inexpensive doctors and dentists. Hotel Congress
? room hotel built in 1919. In 1934 John Dillinger and his gang stayed at the Copper Queen Hotel shortly before they were arrested in 1934. The Hotel Congress was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. Jerome Historic Hotels

Jerome Grand Hotel
This Spanish mission style hotel with beautiful views of the Verde Valley was built between 1926 and 1927 as the United Verde Hospital. The hospital closed in 1950 and the building was not used for many years, until renovations began in 1994. Room rates are about $120 to $460 per night.
