Ski Areas in Arizona

There are four main ski areas in Arizona: Flagstaff (SnowBowl), Williams, the White Mountains (Sunrise Park), and Tucson (Mount Lemon). Best places for cross country skiing are Flagstaff, Sunrise, Morman Lake, and Wing Mountain. The ski season in Arizona is from approximately the middle of December to the middle of April.

Arizona Snowbowl
North Arizona ski resort on the San Francisco Peaks of the Coconino National Fores. Located north of Flagstaff and about two hours away from Phoenix.

Mount Lemmon Ski Valley
Located South of Tucson in the Santa Catalina Mountains. Chair lift operates year round and it has views of the city of Tucson, the San Pedro Valley, and the Reef of rocks.

Sunrise Park Ski Area
Located in Arizona's White Mountains nea the town of McNary.

Elk Ridge Ski Area
Located in Williams Arizona on Route 66.

Flagstaff Nordic Center
Located in the Coconino National Forest, 15 miles northwest of Flagstaff.
