About the Mogollon Rim
Information about the Mogollon Rim in Arizona. The Mogollon
rim is the southern edge of the Colorado Plateau, and it
runs nearly 2000 miles from southwest of Flagstaff Arizona
to the White Mountains of Eastern Arizona.
It is a high plateau with elevations that average about 7000 feet
and it has a rim that drops more then 2000 feet to the
desert floor, in some areas. It is a popular recreation
area and its forests and lakes are popular for camping,
hiking, horseback riding, fishing, and scenic drives.
