Arizona Pioneer Living History Village
Ninety acre living history museum featuring authentic 1800's buildings, historically accurate reproductions, a blacksmith's shop, sheriff's office, jail, ranch complex, and costumed interpreters including cowboys, lawmen, and Victorian ladies. Sharlot Hall Museum
Museum named after American journalist, peot, and historian Sharlot Mabridth Hall. She founded the Prescott Historical Society and opened the Sharlot Hall Museum in 1928. The museum's first exhibits included her personal collection of historic photographs and artifacts. Today Sharlot Hall is part of an open air museum dedicated to preserving the history and folklore of Yavapai County, Arizona. The Museum grounds include several historic buildings moved to the property and the old governor's mansion, still in its original location. Arizona Pioneer Descendant Certificate Program
Certificate honoring direct descendants of pioneers who lived in the geographical area now known as Arizona prior February 14, 1912, the date Arizona became a U.S. state. Certificates are awarded to descendants who submit acceptable evidence of their ancestor's residence in the area and their own relationship to that ancestor.
