About Lake Powell
Lake Powell is located in both Arizona and Utah and it
was created in the late 1950's and 1960's when the
Glen Canyon Dam caused Glen Canyon to be come flooded.
Most of Lake Powell lies within the state of Utah but
the southern tip of the lake, and Glen Canyon Dam,
are located in Arizona, near the town of Page.
