The Four Corners Monument is in a very remote location with no running water, electricity, or telephones. There are no accommodations near the Four Corners Monument, but there are a few small cafes and gas stations within about 30 miles, in the communities of Teec Nos Pas AZ, Mexican Water AZ, Shiprock NM, Cortez CO and Bluff UT. The nearest community is Teec Nas Pas Arizona, about six miles from the monument.
Visitor facilities in the monument area include picnic tables, self-contained toilets, a visitors center where brochures are available, and Navajo vendors selling jewelry, crafts and traditional Navajo foods.

2010 Four Corners Monument Renovation Project
In the spring of 2010 a $680,000 renovation project began on
the monument which will is expected to be completed by August
or September of 2010. As part of that project, the marker will
be moved eight feet and improvements will be made to the plaza
surrounding the monument.
