Canyon Lake in Arizona

Canyon Lake is the smallest of the four lakes created by the Salt River Project. It is located about a one hour drive east of Phoenix. There are several picnic and recreational areas on the edge of the lake, a marina, and two campgrounds. the Canyon Lake Marina Campground and the Tortilla Campground, the latter located about two miles from the lake. The lake has about 28 miles of shoreline and it is a popular venue for boating, fishing, waterskiing, jet skiing, swimming, and sailing.
