Beaches in Arizona
Arizona has more shoreline then the entire west coast
of the United States but it is not a destination known
for its white sandy beaches. There are plenty of
places to swim on Arizona's lakes and rivers but not
many sandy beaches. Visitors to Arizona's lakes and
rivers are usually more interested in recreational sports
such as boating, fishing, water skiing, and river rafting
then they are in lying on a beach all day. But that being said,
there ARE a few sandy beaches in Arizona, and even one full-on
beach resort. Here are some of the best beaches in
Arizona:
Beach Resorts in Arizona
Boulder Beach on Patagonia Lake
Gateway Beach Park
Tempe Beach Park
Windsor Beach on Lake Havasu
Buckskin Mountain State Park Beach
Cattail Cove State Park Beach
Lyman Lake State Park Beach
The Beaches of Puerto Pensaco Mexico
