Apache Lake in Arizona

Apache Lake is a one of four artificial reservoirs created on the Salt River that created as part of the Salt River Project (the other three lakes created as part of that project are Canyon Lake, Roosevelt Lake, and Saguaro Lake).

Where is Apache Lake?
Apache Lake is located in the Tonto National Forest, just off the Apache Trail (Highway 88), about 65 miles away from the city of Phoenix. The lake itself is about a mile off the main highway.
