About Alpine Arizona

Information about the town of Alpine in Apache County, Arizona, about six miles from Arizona's border with New Mexico. Alpine is located in the eastern White Mountains, at an elevation of about 8000 feet, it is surrounded by the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. It is a popular destination for outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and camping. The town of Alpine was originally known as Bush Valley.
