Verde River Rafting and Paddling
Information rafting tours and paddling tours on
the Verde River National Wild and Scenic River.
Verde River rafting tours are usually available
between February and April when the whitewater
conditions can be as high as Class 3. The Verde
River Segment from the town of Childs to
the Horseshoe Reservoir runs through the
Mazatzal Wilderness. Some river runners begin
their Verde River rafting trips in Beasley Flats, which adds about
16 miles to the trip.
