Information about the state seal of Arizona.
The state seal of Arizona features a mountain range with the rising from behind its peaks, a water storage reservoir, a dam, irrigated fields, orchards, cattle, a quartz mill, a miner with a pick and shovel, adn the state motto "Ditat Deus" meaning "God Enriches". The words "Great Seal of the State of Arizona" surround the seal and the date 1912 is at the bottom, the year Arizona was admitted to the United States.
