State Reptile of Arizona

Information about the state mammal of Arizona.

The state reptile of Arizona is the Ridge-Nosed Rattlesnake. The ridge-nosed rattlensnake canbe found in the Huachuca, Patagonia, and Santa Rita Mountains in the south central region of Arizona. It is a small snake that usually weighs about 3 or 4 ounces and grows up to about 24 inches.
